Tim Cormode has spent 30 years in social impact. As Founder and CEO of Power to Be, he has built an award-winning charity that connects thousands of youth and families with the healing power of nature. He launched Power to Give in 2023 to help generous families give back more effectively through an entrepreneurial, modern approach to philanthropy.

Tim has been recognized with the BC Community Achievement Award, induction into the Canadian Disability Hall of Fame, and was awarded the BC Medal of Good Citizenship. He has also served on boards including 13th Round Fight for Life, the Yellow Bus Foundation, and the Abilitas Foundation.

An Orillia native and dedicated Leafs fan, Tim now lives in Victoria with his wife, Brie, and daughters, Georgia and Grace. When not working, he’s usually outdoors, mountain biking, adventuring, and bringing people together to make a difference.
