Since launching in December 2009, MLSE Foundation has invested more than $45 million into Ontario communities. Using the power of sport as a unifying force, we're committed to helping youth reach their potential and creating more equal playing fields for all.
Vision: Changing lives through the spirit and power of sport.
Mission: Improving the lives of youth by building facilities, giving to sustainable programs and empowering youth through sport and recreation.
To fulfill our mission, we know that our work must engage with the systems of power and oppression which impact the communities we serve. In doing so, we recognize our own positionality and commit to transforming our work in ways that support the dismantling of systemic racism, amplify the lived experiences of Black, Indigenous and other communities of colour, and hold us accountable to meaningful and lasting change.
As we move forward, we are mindful that how we continue to serve our communities will evolve as we listen, learn, reflect and take action. We will continue to update this page with our efforts which you can find below.
Anti-Black Racism Statement
