MLSE Foundation and Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities work together to refurbish athletic facilities, creating more opportunities for youth to get moving in their communities. Our goal is to build equity through the power of sport by empowering communities to reimagine their play spaces.

MLSE Foundation and Penny Appeal Canada announced a three-year partnership that will be dedicated to empowering girls ages 6 to 29 within the community. Through MLSE LaunchPad, a Sport For Development facility located downtown Toronto where youth use sport to recognize and reach their potential, the girls will be given a safe space to engage in quality sport and life skills programming.

Toronto FC, MLSE Foundation and Black Players for Change have come together to launch “UNITE” – an initiative to raise funds during TFC’s playoff run to provide youth equitable access to sport in Toronto.

GoDaddy Canada announced today a donation of $60,000 to MLSE Foundation with the funds being used to improve the lives of youth through sport and recreation. The donation comes from proceeds generated through ‘A Raptor Tale’ and ‘Book Deal’ marketing campaigns, which ran during the 2019-2020 NBA season featuring Toronto Raptors alumnus Muggsy Bogues.
