the Huddle Up Bullying Prevention Program was created back in 2001 after founder jason colero was being bullied in high school. One of my football teammates had the courage to speak up for me and was the ally I desperately needed.
On behalf of all teams at MLSE, we hope this program encourages you to stand up for injustices to help prevent bullying, racism and discrimination in our communities. Itโs a big job and will take time and effort, but remember weโre all in this together.

Initial step is to sign two or more classes between grades 5-10 on the platform, to be able to use the resource at your leisure. The resource written by curriculum writers and mental health practitioners, affiliated with PREVNet, OPHEA, Canadian Race Relations Foundation, and Lumenus and covers bullying prevention, mental health, social justice, and inclusion. You can use lessons within modules whenever you need our platform to help you teach a topic.
Student Empowerment Committee
After registering, all schools are encouraged to undertake student empowerment by creating a group of 10 students across various grade levels that will benefit from being leaders in the messaging around the platform lessons. They can be integral to ensure the messages are ongoing.
