1/19/2017 2:44:01 PM

Gohulan Rajalingam – Special Olympics athlete from Sir William Osler High School

"Special Olympics is very special to me and has helped me to make new friends, have fun and mainly be myself. Because of Special Olympics, I am able to compete at many awesome tournaments such as the 2016 Provincial School Championships in Oshawa for Track & Field where my team and I made history by winning gold at Canada’s first Special Olympics unified relay race. I represented my school and competed with my friends in Basketball School Championships as well. This school year, I attended the track & field qualifier at Variety Village and met Olympian Damian Warner. Special Olympics has made a huge difference in my life and the lives of many athletes."
