Aris Kaplanis has more than 30 years of experience in the technology sector. Most recently, he was President and CEO of Teranet Inc., having assumed the helm of the company when it was founded in 1991. Mr. Kaplanis earned an honours B.A. in Economics and Communications from Heidelberg College in Ohio and completed advanced studies in Business Administration at the University of Akron and the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Kaplanis has been the Honourary Chancellor of Assumption University (Windsor, Ontario) since 2005 and received an honourary Doctor of Laws degree from the University in 2000. He is a recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, awarded for making a significant contribution to Canada, the community, and fellow Canadians.He is a Patron of Operation Springboard.He sits on several Private Sector Boards.
He is the recipient of a Papal Knighthood having received The Order of st Gregory from Pope Benedict.

As a Senior Vice President and Investment Advisor, Drew has been in the investment industry for more than 22 years, and has been ranked among the top 25 Investment Advisors in Canada at TD Wealth Private Investment Advice.
Drew has extensive charity and volunteer experience dealing with a broad spectrum of charitable organizations. He has lent his time to the Sick Kids Hospital telethon, the Children’s Aid Society and the Childhood Cancer Foundation, just to name a few.
Retired Partner, Deloitte
Raised in Toronto, Lynda completed both her Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees at the University of Guelph and taught in the University’s Consumer Studies department with an emphasis in foods, for five years before returning to school to earn her CA designation. She retired in May 2012 after working as a Senior Audit and Assurance Partner of Deloitte & Touche LLP for over 33 years.
Lynda was the recipient of several awards including The International Alliance for Women Award, the Canadian Women of Influence Award, the Lynda Bowles Spirit Award Winner and the YWCA Women of Distinction Award for Business.
She completed the Canadian Board Diversity Council Advanced Board Director Education Program and is an active board member. She is also an active volunteer with the Canadian Executive Services Association and has travelled to the Artic and to the North West Territories to provide seminars and workshops to Inuit and First Nations organizations. The seminars dealt with effective governance methods and with the understanding of financial statements.
Former Leafs Captain, Ex-Officio Director
One of the most beloved players in Toronto Maple Leafs history, Wendel was Toronto’s first choice, picked first overall in the 1985 Entry Draft. He captained the Maple Leafs from 1991 to 1994 and served three different shifts with the team. He retired after the playoffs in 2000 at the age of 33. Wendel is currently employed by the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club as a community representative, representing the club in all areas of Marketing, Community Relations and Alumni Relations.

As a public relations and philanthropic strategy specialist, Freda previously served as the CEO of Edelman PR. Currently, Freda is an independent PR consultant for leading Canadian philanthropists and Imagine Canada Caring Companies. Freda is a graduate of the Board Governance program at the Rotman School of Business.
President, KMH Cardiology and Diagnostic Centres
Vijay Kanwar is President and Chief Financial Officer of KMH Cardiology and Diagnostic Centres, North America’s largest provider of nuclear cardiology services and KMH MRI and Health Care Centres. Mr. Kanwar is also President and Director of Lambardar Inc., and founder President, Transamerica Medical Inc., a medical supply company specializing in bulk purchasing arrangements. He serves on several boards and advisory groups. He received his professional Mechanical Engineering Degree from India and MBA from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto. Mr. Kanwar was the recipient of the 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Health Sciences in Ontario and also the recipient of New Pioneer Awards for Entrepreneur of the Year 2009.
Vice President, Government Relations, OMERS
Chris is a senior leader at Labatt Breweries, where he helps the business navigate through the federal and provincial regulatory framework. Prior to joining Labatt, he served as Chief of Staff and Director of Communications to the Premier of Ontario. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two young children.
Partner, Aird and Berlis, LLP
Joel Rose is a partner and a member of Aird and Berlis’ Corporate/Commercial Group, specializing in M&A, with a particular focus in representing private equity funds in acquisition and divestiture of Canadian businesses. He is also an active member of the Regulatory Team, who provides advice to the gaming, transportation, and energy industries, including from an M&A perspective. Mr. Rose is continuously selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada under the specialty of Gaming Law as well as in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading lawyer in Transportation Law.

Walter is the Co-founder of RE/MAX INTEGRA Group of Companies, which includes head offices in Toronto, Boston, Indianapolis, Minneapolis and Zug, Switzerland. It is the largest real estate sub-franchisor in the world, representing the RE/MAX brand in 35 countries, 2,500 offices and 30,000 sales associates, selling a house every 65 seconds. The company is Mississauga based and Walter is a lifetime resident of Toronto. He is also the owner of a number of other companies both Canada and US based. He is actively involved in Philanthropy, a partner of MLSE and proud Canadian.
Former Leafs Captain, Ex-Officio Director
One of the greatest players to ever wear the Toronto Maple Leafs uniform, Darryl was also Toronto’s first choice, picked eighth overall in the 1970 Amateur Draft. He played 844 games with the Leafs and also played in Philadelphia and Detroit. Mr. Sittler retired after the 1984-1985 season, and in 1989, he was honoured with an induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame. He returned to the Leafs organization in August 1991 to become a representative in the Community Relations department.
